Ok maybe not forevvvvver but it has been a long time since I have updated this blog...so here goes....

Nathaniel-

he is doing great!! He is about to graduate from his Dari course. March 9th to be exact! Im so proud of him for working so hard! He will have 4-6 months of training in Goodfellow Tx and then he will join me in Georgia. Its going to be hard being away from him for so long but i'm hoping the time will go by fast! Thats military life for ya!

Me-

I'm doing great! I've already started packing some of the house up, but now that we know we will be leaving in 3 weeks, im going to have to get this show on the road! After some long deliberation, me and Nathaniel have decided to start trying for another baby. I have a dr.s appt on Monday (the 22nd) to get my IUD removed! I kind of want to get pregnant right away, but then I dont...if we do then this baby will be born in December! I dont want them to have their birthdays to close together :) But whatever happens! Life is good!

Kyleigh-

What a stinker! She is doing great! we took her to the Opthomologist for the eye problem she was having...He told me that she was to young to do anything about it now...he said that the condition was treatable up to 5 years old, so we have some time! It was a big relief, since my pedi made it seem like she was going to go blind if we didn't fix it! Way to make me go grey doc! I have completely weaned Kyleigh during the day, which is GREAT! I'm glad it wasn't to hard! i really thought it would take longer, but just after 1 week she will go sleep without being nursed (for naps that is) and she only nurses 2 times at night! I'm not looking forward to weaning her during th night, but I think I will try that this weekend! wish me luck! Everything is going great with Kyleigh! She learns new things all the time and is just so smart! I love this kiddo of mine!

Kyleigh's Poem

From the moment I held you
I knew things had changed
The pieces of my heart
had been rearranged

While I looked in your eyes
all I could feel
was a love so very strong

I remember the first time
you smiled at me
I never knew i could
feel so much glee

The first giggle I heard,

TRUELY AUTHENTIC MOM!

Ok well I got tagged to make a blog about why I am a TAM (or truly authentic mom)so...here goes!
My 5 things that make me a TAM....

1. I am actually nursing Kyleigh as I type this. It's like I've gained a appendage. I cant think of much I havent done while nursing.

2. I think I enjoy baby snacks MORE than Kyleigh!! But hey!! Have you tried a cheddar crunchie?? Delish!

3. My favorite activity before having a kid? Going bowling, a movie, or the mall! My favorite activity as a mom? Going to the park! Rolling a ball to Kyleigh! Dancing like a mad woman trying to get Kyleigh to giggle!

4.I seem to find green hairy sippy cups under the couch from time to time...oh the joy of cleaning that puppy! Not for the faint of heart.

5. And lastly i am a TAM because I am a totally different person than I was before I had Kyleigh. I am a MUCH more understanding, caring person. And I have Mommyhood to thank for that!

Mine was so much fun! We had a blast in Reno! We had a lovely spread! Turkey, stuffing, corn pudding (sounds weird, but OOOOMMMMGGGGG it was yummy), cranberry salad, homemade rolls, green bean casserole (my fav), cheesecake, pecan pie, and mississippi mud pie!! im so thankful for my family! Especially my daughter and husband! i dont know what i would do without them! Kyleigh has brought my life so much joy! I dont know how i lived without her before! so i have a list of shout outs i would like to give....

Nathaniel- i cant even list all the things im thankful for that you do for me....im so proud of you for working so hard in school, and being such a wonderful father! I love you!

Kyleigh- Your life has made mine better, your smiles make my day, even whn your screaming at the top of your lungs because i wouldnt let you chew on the surge protector, i cant help but smile thinking of how much i love you. you are my reason for living. I love you with all my heart.

Darryl and Naomi - I feel like I have gotten so close to you in the past few months! I love having family so close! It's wonderful to have grandparents so close to Kyleigh as well! I look forward to more time together with both of you! Love you two so much!

Christina and Paul- You have been so helpful to me and Nathaniel the past few months and I dont know how to thank you! You have always been there when we needed you, and that means so much! Love you both with all my heart!

Lanie- you are one of the coolest funniest people I know! I love hanging out with you! It never gets old! I Love you!

Liz (and munchkins)- I loved when we both lived in newton! We got along so well! I miss having you so close! Your so much fun to be around! And I love your kiddos so much! Being around Nathan and Matthew really was a lot of the reason I wanted to start my own family...seeing how happy you and Devin are, gives me hope that i can handle more than one kid! Love you girl!

Ruth (and munchkins)- I never really had time to get to know you that well until this past trip to Texas...and you are SOOOOO much fun! We have a lot of similar interests! I think if we lived closer, we would be great friends! I loved meeting you (for real this time) and cant wait to get to know you better!

Maddy- Oh my god...i dont know how i would survive without you! You are my support system! You are my sister. I love you so much! You always support me, even when no one else does! And that means the world to me.

Grandma- even though I Know you wont read this (computer challenged) I HAVE to give you a shout out! You are one the most important people in my life. I love you so much. You made me who I am today, and i could never thank you enough. You loved me through all of my trials...you weren't always there but you always loved me. and thats all i ever needed. I love you.

Close Friends (you know who you are)- I have so many good friends now that i couldnt possibly write a paragraph for each of you! You are all so wonderful, and easy to talk to! Im truly grateful (and lucky!) to have such good friends! I love you all!

Everyone else- I love all the people in my life. Im so blessed to have such caring people in my life. I love my life, and everyone I know has played a part in it. Thank you all so much!

Wow, I've been gone for quite sometime now....I actually have quite a bit to talk about!

Ok, I'll start with Nathaniel. He took his DLPT (Defense Language Proficiency Test) on Tuesday and Wednesday. He was really nervous about his reading test. On Thursday I went to the base to have lunch with him and his class (they had a pizza party). Nathaniel was supposed to find out his scores at 1:00...we were on pins and needles the whole time we were waiting! Well 1:00 came and went and STILL no scores! Well come to find out, some General came to the school that day and the guy that was supposed to deliver the scores had to escort the General around the base. So Nathaniel had to wait until 2:30 to get his scores! I know this doesn't sound like a very long time, but trust me it felt like an eternity!! So He finally got his scores and he got a 3/3/2!!!!!!! That is a GREAT score! He got the highest score in his class, along with one other girl! His final GPA was 3.9. I'm so proud of him for working so hard! He does his best to support our family and I'm sooo grateful! Wat this means for us is...since Nathaniel got such a high score, he will more than likely get another language immediately after his Farsi graduation. He will be learning a dialect of Farsi, called Dari. It's a 16 week course. After he finishes Dari, he will be going to a 6 month long tech school in Good Fellow, Texas. While he is there Me and Kyleigh will be staying with Christina and I will be returning to work for a while. Once Nathaniel is done with His Texas Tech School, we are moving to Georgia! And talk of another baby is in the works :). We will be living there for quite a while ( a few years).

Ok Now for Kyleigh...She is doing GREAT! She had a bit of a scary doctors appt. recently though. I went for her 9 month check up and the doctor said that her head was measuring to large, her iron was low, and she had a high temp. I had to take her to the lab so they could take stool samples to check for any bacteria. All the cultures came back negative! She has been taking vitamins for her iron. And the doctor said that is her head was still measuring large at her 1 year appt. that she would get it checked out. She told me not to worry (but is wanted me not to worry she shouldn't have told me!!!) She is feeding herself, which is GREAT! I love being able to just hand her food and she puts it in her mouth (along with anything else she finds on the floor). She also FINALLY got her two bottom teeth!! I love her little toothy grin! I'm still nursing her so I'm praying she doesn't bite me!! She's been standing by herself, with no support for quite sometime, so I think she may try to walk in the next month! I'm in for it! I love her SOOOO much! ANY IDEAS ARE WELCOME!!

And Finally and update on me...I'm doing FANTASTIC! I'm loving life! I'm still doing photography with my friend Margaret, and she's really helped me get better! I'm slowly learning how to be a better house wife. It's hard working out a schedule for cleaning, but I'm getting better! Kyleigh keeps me busy! I'm constantly chasing her, pulling things out of her mouth. I don't know how she hasn't choked on something yet! she finds the oddest things!

i have to say i had a absolute BLAST!! I was super lucky to have this experience! I just made a new friend who is an AMAZING photographer, and she has been teaching me how to use my camera!! Well she let me tag along to a wedding to get some practice! and some of my shots turned out pretty good!

As miserable as I was...I miss it more than I can say. I miss feeling the first little nudge, the first hiccup, the first rib breaking kick. I miss seeing her little foot move across my belly, and knowing that she was safe inside of me. I miss spending hours listening to her heart beat, I miss daydreaming about who she would look like, I even miss folding, then unfolding, then refolding all her baby clothes, just so I can see them all again! I miss Nathaniel talking to her inside my belly, I miss practicing lullabys with her, I miss the anticiapation of going to my doctor, only to hear "No progress this week."

I want another baby so bad right now...but thats the thing RIGHT NOW...when I really think about it I know I'm not ready for another baby. I think I want to wait until Kyleigh is a LEAST one year before we start trying to conceive...but I can't wait! The idea of another baby makes me excited!

Kyleigh has been SO hard to put to sleep since she was born, I've always had to rock or pat her to sleep...I've always said "I wish she could soothe herself to sleep"! Well now when she gets tired she wants to be ALONE with her binky...NO MOMMY!! I cant hold her, I cant rub her hair, I cant even be in the same room!!

My baby is growing up...she doesn't need me to put her to sleep anymore! All this time I was complaining, and now I miss holding her while she sleeps! I wish I could freeze time!

Im starting my nutrisysten diet tomorrow! I hope it works out!

I was thinking about posting pictures but that would just be wayyyy to embarrassing if I didnt loose weight! I'll post before and after pictures when all is said and done!

I'm very optimistic! This diet with combination with my ridiculous work out I do almost every night I think I'm going to get some good results! I'm aiming to loose 15 pounds...which would put me at around 145...and I would be very happy! More than anything I want to loose dress sizes!

ANNNYWHO I wont be to upset if it doesnt work out for me since I didn't pay for it! Nathaniel's step mom Naomi gave me a free month! God love her!

Speaking of Naomi we went down to Fresno and met up with Darryl and Naomi and saw a bunch of Nathaniels family! Had a good time...I freaking LOOOOOVVVVE California! I never want to leave here!

This is the only post I have ever posted that will not involve pictures! Well I have been doing a lot of thinking about what I want to do with my life...I mean I'm 19 years old and I change my mind everyday on what I want to go to college for!! (i.e photographer, real estate agent, nurse, chef, trust me the list goes on...) And while I'm deciding what I want to do with my life I wanted to do something fun!! So I plan on taking some acting classes!! I'm excited!! I want to try out a bunch of things!! When I'm done with these classes I think I may try out some voice lessons!! I've always enjoyed singing and I'm half way decent soooo maybe I can get myself American Idol worthy (HA) with some voice lessons! I want to have fun while I'm young!!
I am thoroughly enjoying being in California! There are so many things to get involved in here! I really think this is where I want to be...I'm not looking forward to moving!! I really feel like me AND Nathaniel have found a place that we love to be. It makes me sad just thinking of the prospect of moving to Georgia blehhh. If we HAVE to move I am praying to go to Maryland!! Don't get me wrong I miss home (texas/lousinana) so much but I just feel like we have bigger things in store for us than Newton has to offer!! (is that weird?)
Kyleigh had a rough day today...she has been so spoiled since she was born its not even funny!! Well I'm definitely regretting it now...I can't put her down for 2 seconds without her screaming bloody murder! I literally cant go pee without holding her anymore. I bathe with her, i unload the dishwasher (YES, i sometime do) with her on my hip, she is on my lap as I'm typing right now....I'm sure that there will be so many typos hahaha! It's a good thing I love this kid so much :))
Nathaniel...silly silly Nathaniel. I love that guy! I was thinking the other day...no one else on earth could be as silly with me as him...and I LOVE it! If people saw and heard the things we did when no one was around they would definitely think we were crazy! He is just so smart in school! I am so proud of him for how hard he has been working!! (ah kyleigh just fell asleep finally thank god :)) He is taking his practice DOPT in a few weeks (the day after his birthday i think?) And if he feels like he did good enough then we are going to move into some apartments out of Fort Ord PRAISE THE LORRRRRRD!!!! We would have about 400-500 dollars a month!! So I'm hoping he is happy with his scores!!

Well I know I started my journey as a MOTHER about 3 months ago but tonight I became a mom.

how you may ask?

I just took a shower and now 3 hours later I find something crusty in my hair and I also have a yellow poop stain on my hand. ohhh the joys of motherhood.

i think the worst part is I'm to tired to take another shower ^.^

OH dont you worry I'll get the poop off.

Kyleighs 2 months and trip to Texas/Louisiana

We had a WONDERFUL trip to texiana (hehehe im soooo clever) I got to see a lot of people i wanted to see but missed a bunch too!! Kyleigh got to see her Oma Pappa and Uncle Dyllie but unfortunatly i was dumb and forgot to take pictures. We got to spend a bunch of time with my grandparents (my main reason for going down.) They loved her!! I got to see some of my close friends as well judy chelsea and a few others!! I had a Fabulous time showing off Kyleigh and I cant wait to see them all again around Christmas!!!

Well Kyleigh is two months and she is just so sweet!! She always has a little gummy smile on her face!! She is giggling and TRYING to roll but im sure it will be a while!! She is looking more like Nathaniel everyday!! I love seeing Kyleigh grow and get her own little personality shes my little angel and I love her more than life itself!!

Kyleigh Anne Singh!!

Well Kyleigh is here!!
I went in on December 9th to be induced...I go to the hospital at 7 in the morning the nurse started Pitocin at 8 I started having mild contractions at 10 or so my doctor came in at 1 and broke my water, well then the contractions started coming on REALLY strong! I tried so hard to not get an epidural!! I asked for IV med which did NOTHING but make me throw up! yay. WELL the nurse came in and checked me at 4:30 and i was 7 1/2 cm dilated I asked for an epidural and she said she would get the guy to come do one for me...OH MY GOD. AMAZING. WONDERFUL. i wanted to kiss this guy (not really) it was instant relief. well at 5 I was 9 1/2 cm so she said I would start pushing soon.at 5:30 i was 10 cm and ready to push!!! I pushed for about 35 minutes and my dr finally got there! i pushed 3 times once he was there and out came screaming 7 pounds 11 ounces of beautiful baby!! I love Kyleigh more than anything in the whole world!!!! i LOVE being a mommy!!!
